Privacy Policy
Effective date: 8 October 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how PostDooth may collect, use, store and disclose information when you use our website or publishing service. The website operator should review this policy against actual deployed data practices before launch.
1. Information we collect
Depending on features you use, this may include account details such as your name and email address, organization and membership information, content you create, publication settings, connection identifiers, access tokens granted by connected platforms, support requests and operational logs.
2. Connected social media accounts
When you authorize a Facebook Page or Instagram professional account, PostDooth may access the account and Page information and permissions necessary to identify eligible destinations and publish content you request. Access depends on the permissions you approve and platform rules. We do not claim ownership of your connected accounts or published content.
3. Why we process data
We use information to provide authentication, connect channels, store drafts, deliver or schedule publications, troubleshoot failures, maintain security, respond to support requests and comply with applicable legal obligations.
4. Sharing
When you choose to publish, your selected content is transmitted to the destination platform. We may use infrastructure or email providers to operate the service. We do not sell personal data. Public posts are governed by the destination platform's own privacy terms.
5. Security and retention
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the service. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Data is retained for as long as necessary to operate the service or satisfy legal obligations, subject to applicable retention settings and deletion requests.
6. Your choices and rights
You can disconnect authorized channels where supported and request access, correction or deletion of personal data. You can also revoke permissions in the connected platform's account settings. See our Data Deletion Instructions.
7. Cookies
The service may use cookies or similar technologies for sign-in, session security and essential preferences. If optional analytics or advertising technologies are added, this policy and any required consent mechanisms must be updated.
8. International processing and children
Service providers may process data in different countries, subject to applicable safeguards. PostDooth is not designed for children below the applicable minimum age.
9. Changes
We may update this policy as the service evolves. The effective date above will reflect material revisions.
